ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE: The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (FDOH) will provide a small number of COVID-19 vaccine doses to Delray Beach Fire Rescue (DBFR) for administration to those 65-and-older this Friday. Though the number of doses is limited to 200, it is likely to be the first in a series for DBFR to administer to the general public.

Those interested in making appointments to receive the vaccines will be able to register starting at:

A confirmation email will be provided to each successful registrant with the time and location of their appointment, general instructions, as well as a link to a vaccine consent form that must be completed and brought with them to the appointment.

'It is the goal of Delray Beach Fire Rescue to help get this vaccine to as many people as possible to put an end to COVID-19 pandemic,' Fire Chief Keith Tomey said.

  • Do not make an appointment if you currently have COVID-19 symptoms.
